The History & Ingredients of Farmhouse Baking
We take pride in maintaining the Taste of Tradition that is a hallmark of our farmhouse baking and production of fruit cakes, puddings and other products.

The distinctive quality of the range is achieved by following the farmhouse traditions which have been passed down through very well tried and tested family recipes over several generations.
Farmhouse baking has long been associated with exceptional quality derived from nutritious natural ingredients and the use of traditional principles that have been respected and preserved.
The products we make are made by traditional methods which is quite unique for a company today. They are made, baked and wrapped by hand. We do not have a production line in sight.
The distinctive quality and flavours of the range is achieved by using only natural ingredients, British butter, fresh farm eggs and no preservatives unless specified by clients. The cakes and puddings are packed with fruit and soaked in spirit or liquors where suitable and have a moist texture.
Tradition and quality go hand in hand to produce 'real' cakes and puddings which are totally superior. The unique approach of using traditional recipes, methods and ingredients are what has led to the success of achieving a taste of tradition to satisfy the customers of today.
Home baking is a traditional part of our history and heritage. Long established tea-time favourites and local specialities go back for generations of inspired baking using fresh farmhouse fayre to give quality, flavour and satisfaction.
